"Maybe Happy Ending," a sweet and futuristic story that follows two obsolete helper robots as they navigate isolation, affection and what it means to be human, was the big musical winner at the Tony Awards on Sunday, capping a record-grossing post-pandemic Broadway theater season.

The show won three big awards including best musical. Darren Criss won his first Tony for best leading actor in a musical for his role as the innocent Oliver, and its director Michael Arden won the award for best director of a musical.

The modern reimagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic “Sunset Blvd.” also won big, taking awards for best revival of a musical and for Nicole Scherzinger, who stars as the faded movie star Norma Desmond, won best actress in a musical.

Buoyed by a post-pandemic rebound, the 2024-25 season grossed a record $1.89 billion in revenue and drew 14.7 million attendees, the Broadway League said.

NEWS link

NEWS link

Let me stand up like a Taiwanese(讓我像個台灣人一樣站起來)」刺蔣行動失敗,海外台灣人成立「黃鄭救援基金會」募款,展現同志義氣,迅速籌到天價保釋金20萬美金。

導演馮賢賢在映後用一句話形容黃晴美「if i can't dance, i don't want to be part of your revolution.(如果不讓我跳舞,我就不想參加你們的革命)」她強調不少女性有理想,也參與社會行動,卻往往被忽略。

Sainsburys and Morrisons told to stop advertising heated tobacco

Sainsburys and Morrisons told to stop tobacco ads

BBC Advert for a heated tobacco device on display in a Morrisons store in London

The government has written to Sainsbury's and Morrisons asking them to stop "advertising and promoting" heated tobacco products, which it says is against the law. The BBC reported in February the supermarkets were displaying posters and video screens showing devices which create a nicotine-containing vapour by heating tobacco with an electric current. At the time, both supermarkets said they believed the adverts were legal. In response to the letter, Sainsbury's said it was in "close contact with the government", while Morrisons said it would reply "in due course".

In 2002, the Labour government under Tony Blair passed a law banning tobacco advertising. It defined a tobacco product as something designed to be "smoked, sniffed, sucked or chewed". Morrisons has argued that this means that it doesn't apply to heated tobacco products, as they don't produce smoke. Advertising for Philip Morris International's (PMI) iQos heated tobacco device on posters and video screens was still on display in Sainsbury's and Morrisons stores visited by the BBC in June, where they were visible to children. PMI said it believes the Department of Health's interpretation of the law is wrong, and said it has "complied with all applicable laws and regulations" since it launched iQos in 2016. The government has now written to the supermarkets clarifying that in its opinion, the law does apply to these products. A Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) spokesperson told the BBC: "In May, we wrote to supermarkets reiterating that the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002… applies to all tobacco products currently on the market, and formally requested they stop advertising and promoting heated tobacco products in stores. "All tobacco products are harmful to health," the spokesperson added.

Surveys by the charity Action on Smoking and Health suggest that awareness of heated tobacco products has risen sharply over the past year, and is even higher among young adults, compared with those over 40.

My dad gave me a kidney - now I can have my dream wedding

Kieran Innes Brian and his son Kieran say they now have a strong bond following the transplant

Kieran Innes was just 25 when he was diagnosed with kidney failure and told he would need dialysis three times a week. He was devastated and worried that he would have to curtail plans of a dream wedding and honeymoon with fiancée Lara Russell. Two years later his future has been transformed thanks to his kidney donor - his 63-year-old dad Brian. "This has 100% made our bond stronger, I feel forever like I owe him," said Kieran. "Everything I'm able to do now is because of him and I have no worries any more."

Kieran Innes Kieran is due to marry his fiancée, Lara, on 5 July

The couple are due to tie the knot in Uphall, West Lothian, next month before jetting off on a "minimoon" to New York, followed by a honeymoon in Italy in October. "Things would be a lot different had I still been on dialysis," the 27-year-old pizza chef said. "We were planning the wedding anyway but things would have been a lot different had I still been on dialysis and the honeymoon would have been a bit of a disaster to plan. "You can do it but it involves the NHS arranging for dialysis in another country, which is incredible that they can do that, but would have been very difficult." Kieran began feeling very unwell when he was on a family holiday in Cullen, Moray, in July 2022. In St John's Hospital in Livingston the following day, he was told his blood pressure was "through the roof". Six weeks later, medics said his kidneys were failing. He was fitted with a stent in his chest and he was put on dialysis.

Brian Innes Kieran arranged a trip to Newcastle to thank his dad

Kieran "absolutely hated" having the stent. It made showering difficult because it was not to get wet and he feared catching it on his clothing and bed sheets. He was put on the waiting list for a kidney but was warned that it could take a very long time. So his fiancée, Lara, 29, asked both their families for a live kidney donation. "That was something I was petrified about, I don't know how to approach that kind of thing but I had a lot of help from my fiancée, she was really forward in helping me ask," Kieran said. Eight people came forward to offer their kidney including Lara's dad and Kieran's brother and sister. However, Kieran's dad was the one the hospital chose to go forward with the operation in March 2024.

Brian, who lives in Prestonpans in East Lothian, told BBC Scotland News how he was "anxious and nervous" at the thought of the operation. The father-of-seven said: "They go over the scenarios, they have to be truthful, as with any surgery, and they said there was a chance of death and I was thinking about my other six children. "However, kidney transplants are quite routine now and although it was always at the back of my mind I wasn't that anxious about it and once I made the decision I was committed to it." Brian had found it hard seeing how much his son was suffering on dialysis and wanted to do something to change the situation. He added: "He was elated when I told him I would give him a kidney and thought it was wonderful that I was doing it for him."

When Brian woke up after the surgery he felt "relieved" and immediately asked if his son was well. "Kieran's life is back to normal now and he's back working," Brian said. "He wouldn't be able to go straight to New York after the wedding [without the transplant]. "It's definitely brought us closer together. He's always hugging me now and he arranged a trip for us to go away together earlier this year as a thank you. "I'm proud of what I did. I'm sure anyone would do that for their kids."

Brian, who has worked as a cameraman for BBC Scotland for more than 40 years, bounced back quickly from the operation. He was back at work on light duties after eight weeks and flew out to cover the European football championships in Germany a further four weeks later in June 2024. The kidney should last about 25 years, meaning Kieran will need about three transplants in his lifetime. So what will Brian be thinking this Father's Day? "Obviously I have seven kids so you've got to think about them all but I have a soft spot for Kieran and what I did for him," he said. Kieran said: "I feel so happy now, I owe my dad my life. I'm able to get married stress-free now and have my dream wedding because of him and be able to spend time with my siblings and fiancée as well as plan to travel and then settle down to have children."

Macron visits Greenland in show of European unity and signal to Trump

In a sign of Greenland's growing importance, French President Emmanuel Macron is visiting the Arctic island today, in what experts say is a show of European unity and a signal to Donald Trump. Stepping foot in the capital Nuuk this morning, Macron will be met with chilly and blustery weather, but despite the cold conditions, he'll be greeted warmly. "This is big, I must say, because we never had visits from a president at all, and it's very welcomed," says veteran Greenlandic official, Kaj Kleist. Nuuk is a small city of less than 20,000 people, and the arrival of a world leader and his entourage, is a major event. "I think that people will be curious, just hearing about it," says consultant and podcast host Arnakkuluk Jo Kleist. "I think they'll be interested in, what his message is going to be." "He's the president of France, but he's also an important representative of Europe. It's a message from the European countries that they're showing support, that Greenland is not for sale, and for the Kingdom of Denmark," says Arnakkuluk Jo Kleist. "These last months have created some questions about what allies we need, and also about what allies do we need to strengthen cooperation with," she says.

France's president is the first high-profile leader to be invited by Greenland's new prime minister, Jens-Frederik Nielsen. Talks will focus on North Atlantic and Arctic security as well as climate change, economic development and critical minerals, before Macron continues to the G7 summit in Canada. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is also attending, and called the French president's visit "another concrete testimony of European unity" amid a "difficult foreign policy situation in recent months".

For several months Greenland, which is a semi-autonomous Danish territory with 56,000 people, has come under intense pressure as US President Donald Trump has repeatedly said he wants to acquire the vast mineral-rich island, citing American security as the primary reason and not ruling out using force. "Macron is not coming to Greenland just for Greenland's sake, it's also part of a bigger game, among these big powers in the world," says Kleist.

France was among the first nations to speak up against Mr Trump, even floating an offer of deploying troops, which Denmark declined. Only a few days ago at the UN's Oceans conference in Nice, Macron stressed that "the ocean is not for sale, Greenland is not for sale, the Arctic and no other seas are for sale" - words which were swiftly welcomed by Nielsen. "France has supported us since the first statements about taking our country came out," he wrote in a Facebook post. "It is both necessary and gratifying." That Macron is coming is a strong message itself, reckons Ulrik Pram Gad, a senior researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies. "The vice presidential couple weren't really able to pull it off," he says, referring to JD Vance and his wife Usha's scaled-back trip in March and lack of public engagements. "That, of course, sends a message to the American public, and to Trump."

It also highlights a shift, as Greenland's leaders consolidate relations with Denmark and the EU, "because we have to have allies in these problems," says Kaj Kleist, alluding to US pressure. "I think it's a good time for Macron to come through here," Kleist adds. "They can talk about defence of the Arctic before the big NATO meetings… And hear what we are looking for, in terms of cooperation and investment."

However, opposition leader Pele Broberg thinks Greenland should have hosted bilateral talks with France alone. ""We welcome any world leader, anytime," he says "Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like a visit for Greenland this time. It looks like a visit for Denmark." Relations between the US and Denmark have grown increasingly fractious. US Vice President JD Vance scolded the Nordic country for underinvesting in the territory's security during his recent trip to an American military base in the far north of Greenland. Last month Denmark's foreign minister summoned the US ambassador in Copenhagen, following a report in the Wall Street Journal alleging that US spy agencies were told to focus efforts on Greenland. Then, at a congressional hearing on Thursday, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth appeared to suggest under tense questioning that the Pentagon had prepared "contingency" plans for taking Greenland by force "if necessary".

Denmark, however, has treaded cautiously. Last week its parliament green-lighted a controversial bill allowing US troops to be stationed on Danish soil, and is spending another $1.5bn (£1.1bn) to boost Greenland's defence. That heightened military presence was on show this weekend as a Danish naval frigate sailed around Nuuk Fjord and helicopters circled over the town. "Denmark has been reluctant to make this shift from having a very transatlantic security strategy to a more European strategy," assesses Gad, but that's changed in recent months.

With rising tensions and increased competition between global powers in the Arctic, the EU is also stepping up its role. Earlier this month the trade bloc signed a deal investing in a Greenland graphite mine - a metal used in batteries - as it races to secure supplies of critical minerals, as well as energy resources, amid China's dominance and Russia's war in Ukraine.

Anti-racism rally in Belfast after days of violence

BBC Unison's Nathalie Donnelly, who works with migrant workers, said they were terrified

Demonstrators gathered in Belfast city centre to show support for Northern Ireland's migrant community following a week of disorder. People in the crowd held signs with slogans such as "racists go home", "refugees are welcome" and "diversity makes us stronger". Violence started on Monday after a peaceful protest over an alleged sexual assault in Ballymena, County Antrim, and later spread to other areas. Two more men have been charged over rioting on Saturday - one a 23-year-old over disorder in Ballymena; the other a 20-year-old over violence in Portadown, County Armagh, on Friday night.

Both are due to appear in court on Monday, Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Chief Constable Jon Boutcher said "bigots and racists" were behind the rioting. Speaking at the anti-racism rally at Belfast City Hall, Nathalie Donnelly from trade union Unison said she had colleagues from ethnic minority backgrounds who were terrified and "basically hiding at home". "They get to work in taxis, come home and hide in their own houses," she told BBC News NI. "We've got a small English class every week - half of the students didn't even dare to come out for the English class." Ms Donnelly said even people who had lived in Northern Ireland for a long time had an "overwhelming sense of sadness and disgust at what is happening and are really questioning staying here". Ms Donnelly, who is originally from France, said she had "made Ireland [her] home" but she felt it was "no longer the Ireland that [she is] proud of". "We should make Ireland the island of a hundred thousand welcomes again," she said.

What happened on Friday night?

Friday night saw a fifth night of violence when police in Portadown, County Armagh, used water cannon to tackle rioters who were attacking them. Officers were targeted with petrol bombs, fireworks, masonry, bricks and bottles. Police in Londonderry also dealt with disorder in the Tullyally area from Friday night into Saturday morning. Damage was caused to playing fields and property in Killeavey Road in Newry in County Down when a large group of people set a pitch and bins on fire. Stones were thrown at the windows of a hotel in Newtownabbey and a car was set on fire in Hesketh Gardens in Belfast, which police are treating a racially motivated hate crime.

At the demo at City Hall, Belfast's deputy lord mayor said he wanted to show solidarity to people who had been targeted in the unrest. Representatives of other political parties and trade unions joined Paul Doherty at the event and there was a small police presence. Doherty said the demonstration was about standing up to "racist thugs who have been on our streets intimidating and threatening families and driving them from their homes". "We're speaking to people right across this city, indeed right across the north, who are afraid to walk down the street, who are afraid to bring their children to school, who are afraid to say hello to someone as they pass them on the street," he said.

Belfast's Deputy Mayor Paul Doherty said the police should "step up"

Doherty added that one parent told him their children were asking: "Daddy why do people hate us out there?" "Imagine children - five, six, seven years of age - asking their parents 'why do people hate us?' That's not the type of society we want in Belfast or across the north," he said. "We need to bring a stop to this." Doherty said the police and Northern Ireland Executive need to "step up" and "a better response" was needed from the PSNI.

PSNI Pictures of suspects have been released by the police

The force has said it will do all it can to bring people to justice and, on Friday, it issued images of people it wants to speak to in connection with the violence. More PSNI officers were injured in Portadown on Friday night, with more than 60 hurt over the course of the past week. Police have made 21 arrests following disorder in various parts of Northern Ireland, with at least 13 charged. Four have appeared in court and been remanded in custody.

Monday A peaceful protest is held in Ballymena, County Antrim, after two teenage boys appear before Coleraine Magistrates' Court accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl. They spoke through an interpreter in Romanian to confirm their names and ages. Their solicitor said they would be denying the charges. Later in the day, violence breaks out when a number of people wearing masks break away from the peaceful protest, build barricades and attack properties on Clonavon Terrace. People throw petrol bombs, bricks and fireworks at police. Tuesday Protesters attack police during another night of disorder in Ballymena. Cars are set on fire and the windows of several houses are smashed. Police also deal with sporadic incidents of disorder in Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus in County Antrim, and north Belfast. Wednesday The worst of the disorder is again in Ballymena, but unrest also spreads to other towns. In Larne, County Antrim, masked youths attack a leisure centre and set it on fire. The centre had been providing emergency shelter for families. Police Scotland agrees to send officers to Northern Ireland to provide support.

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service said that they attended the scene at Larne Leisure Centre at 20:54 BST

How UK paternity leave compares to the rest of Europe

Paternity leave: How much time off work do new dads get across Europe?

BBC Paternity leave policies vary across Europe - but the UK's offer is one of the least generous

The paternity leave offer for new dads in the UK is "one of the worst in the developed world", according to a new report published this week. The government says the system needs to be "improved" and has promised to review parental leave. But how does the situation in the UK compare to elsewhere? BBC News spoke to dads across Europe about how much time they can take off work after the birth of their children - and how that has changed fatherhood for them.

Jamie Fox has a three-year-old daughter and is expecting his second child

When Jamie's daughter Kiara was born three years ago, he says it was "incredibly difficult". "I had to watch my partner struggle looking after our child," Jamie says. "The biggest thing I remember was the crying. My daughter clearly needed support and my wife was noticeably struggling and exhausted." A few weeks after Kiara was born, Jamie's mother-in-law flew from Zimbabwe to support the family, because Jamie was only entitled to statutory paternity leave. Rules in the UK allow new fathers and second parents in full-time employment to take up to two weeks off work. That applies to all partners, regardless of gender, after the birth, surrogacy or adoption of a baby, but not those who are self-employed or dads earning less than £123 a week. Those eligible receive £187.18 a week, or 90% of their average earnings, whichever is lower. This works out as less than half of the National Living Wage. Jamie, from Ashford in Kent, says the statutory pay "was frankly pennies". He and his partner are now expecting their second child, in August - something they began saving for before Jamie's wife Zanele even fell pregnant. Jamie says his "frustration" about paternity pay led him to attend the world's first "dad strike" earlier this week, when fathers from across the country protested outside the government's Department for Business and Trade in Westminster. "Seeing things change relatively recently in other countries... why are we not keeping up?" Jamie says.

Spain has increased the amount of time off work for new dads in recent years - Octavio had eight weeks off with his first child, and four months with his second

For Octavio, spending four months at home with his daughter Alicia has made "a tremendous difference". He split his paternity leave into two parts - six weeks - which was mandatory -immediately after Alicia was born, and the remaining 10 weeks when his wife went back to work. "The extended quality time with Alicia allowed us to develop a strong bond that I believe wouldn't have formed as deeply otherwise," says Octavio, a computer engineer from Seville. Over the past few years, Spain has increased the amount of time given to new fathers. In 2019, dads were entitled to five weeks off work. But from 2021, that was extended to 16 weeks at full pay, including for those who are self-employed. There is no cap on the salary paid. It means parental leave is now equal between mums and dads in Spain. "These changes have truly made a significant difference," says Octavio.

Antoine has benefitted from France's updated paternity leave laws

France has also made progressive steps on paternity leave in recent years. Antoine is an architect who lives on the outskirts of Paris, and has benefitted from the changes. When his son Thibault was born five years ago, Antoine, who works full-time, was entitled to two weeks paternity leave. But in September 2020 paternity leave in France doubled, meaning Antoine got four weeks off work when his second child was born in 2023. "It allowed me to support my wife and children," he says. "Fathers should be allowed to be more present during these family life periods that enrich all relationships and allow them to fully take their place as full-time parents." France's paternity leave rules mean dads - including those who are self-employed - must take a week off work immediately after their child is born. Pay is covered by the employer for the first three days, but after that is state-funded. The remaining 21 days, which can be split into two chunks, are optional and can be taken anytime within the next six months. Pay is capped at €3,428 (£2,921) a month.

André has split his paternity leave into two

André, who was born in Portugal and spent nine years living in England, says the prominent role played by dads in Denmark was one of the first things he noticed when he moved there. "You see dads strolling around with their kids and young babies," André says. "I was like: 'Wow, I'm not used to this.'" Dads in Denmark, including those who are self-employed, can take up to 24 weeks off work at full pay by the state. After eleven weeks, the remaining 13 can be transferred to the birth partner if wanted, so they can use them as extra maternity leave. One of the parents can postpone up to 13 weeks of parental until their child is aged nine. André decided to split his parental leave - taking two weeks immediately after his baby Miro was born and saving the remaining 11 weeks - so he can look after his nine-month-old son when his partner returns to work. "In Denmark, it's expected that the partner is more present," André says. "You're not only connecting with your child, but you want to develop the family as a whole together."

Dr Kamil Janowicz Kamil, a psychologist and post-doctoral researcher at SWPS University, says paternity leave gave him confidence as a father

Dads with full-time jobs in Poland are entitled to two weeks of paternity leave. But unlike in the UK, the salary is paid at 100%, which Kamil says was "great". Shortly after his daughter Marianna's first birthday, Kamil took another nine weeks of non-transferable parental leave, which must be taken in the first year. This is available to both parents, as long as they are employed, and is paid at 70% of a full-time salary. "For many families, the 70% nine weeks is very low," Kamil says, "but... when I took the leave my wife started going back to work. I earned 30% less, but she started earning more, so it was beneficial for our family." Kamil says those extra nine weeks alleviated a lot of "stress" as his wife transitioned back into work after a year off on maternity leave. "I was confident," Kamil says. "I felt as though I was doing a good job - and my daughter felt good with me."

By the time he has used his full parental leave allowance, Mattias' son will be almost one

Mattias, from Stockholm, says comforting his three-month-old son is "the best feeling I've ever experienced". Mattias is able to take advantage of one of the most generous paternity leave policies in the world. Parents in Sweden, including those who are self-employed, can share up to 480 days of parent leave, with 90 days reserved specifically for each parent. Ringfencing time off for dads was first introduced in Sweden in 1995, with the introduction of a "daddy month" - 30 days just for fathers. This use-it-or-lose-it model increased to 60 days in 2002, and 90 days in 2016. The first 390 days for each parent are paid at 80% by the government, up to a monthly salary cap of SEK47,750 (£3,590). After that, there's a daily statutory compensation of SEK180 (£14). Mattias took six weeks off when Otto was born and will use another nine months of parental leave from November. "We could share the load in the beginning when everything was new," Mattias says. "Those six weeks allowed us to be parents together - that made a huge difference. "

Paternity leave - the view from the UK

Some companies, both in the UK and abroad, pay out of their own pocket for enhanced paternity leave policies beyond the statutory minimum. But research from 2023 showed just 12% of fathers from low-income households had access to their full entitlement of employer-enhanced parental leave and pay. Alex Lloyd-Hunter, co-founder of The Dad Shift, says "money is the single biggest barrier" to dads taking time off work and wants the government to fund better paternity leave for all dads. A report, published this week by the Women and Equalities Committee (WEC) said statutory pay in the UK was "completely out of kilter with the cost of living". It suggested the government should consider increasing paternity pay to 90% or more and paternity leave to six weeks in a phased approach.

The report also looked at shared parental leave, introduced in 2014, which allows parents to share up to 50 weeks of leave and up to 37 weeks of pay after the birth or adoption of a child. The review found many families considered it "unnecessarily complex". It is used in fewer than 2% of all births and a report from 2023 suggests almost half (45%) of dads were not even aware shared parental leave was an option.

US Open 2025: Sam Burns leads, Scott, Spaun, Hovland, Hatton and MacIntyre among chasers

America's Sam Burns maintained his slender overnight lead but the field closed in after a terrific finish to the third round at the US Open.

The 28-year-old world number 22 carded three birdies and two bogeys in his one-under 69 to move to four under par.

Playing partner JJ Spaun was level with Burns for much of the round but bogeyed the final hole to stay one shot back.

Alongside Spaun at three under par, 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott made a decisive move on the back nine to stake his claim for a second major title at 44 years old.

The only player in the top 10 to have previously won one of golf's biggest four tournaments, the Australian birdied the 13th and 14th holes before draining a 15-foot birdie putt on the 17th to briefly tie the lead.

His round of three-under 67 was joint best in the field - alongside Mexico's Carlos Ortiz who improved to level par - and earned him a spot in the final group on Sunday.

Norway's Viktor Hovland remains a threat. He hit two trees and a flagstick on his way to a level-par 70 and produced a wondrous shot out of the rough on 17 to find a bonus birdie.

England's Tyrrell Hatton and Scotland's Robert MacIntyre both impressed in their search for a first major title and are at one over and three over par respectively.

World number one Scottie Scheffler carded his best round of the week, a level-par 70, but is eight shots off the lead, while Rory McIlroy hit a 74 to fall to 10 over.

More to follow.

Canadian Grand Prix: Max Verstappen says questions about potential race ban 'childish' and 'annoying'
NEWS link
The track characteristics have the opposite effect on championship leaders McLaren, whose car is the best in the field at managing tyre temperatures.

As a consequence, McLaren have been struggling to make it operate at its best in Montreal.

Championship leader Oscar Piastri is third on the grid behind Russell and Verstappen but his team-mate and title rival Lando Norris could manage only seventh, admitting that he had made two mistakes in the final session of qualifying.

Norris said: "I think we can go forwards anyway, but not a lot. You know, it's not like we're easy one-two, like we have been on other tracks.

"It's just very low grip, first of all is one of the bigger things. And therefore the car balance just never comes together as much as what it does in other tracks.

"Probably just low grip and some of the kerb-riding and bumps, which just hurts us, it seems, more than some others."

Norris was using a revised front suspension layout that was designed to increase the feel from the front axle of the car, the lack of which the Briton believes is important in the flip in form between himself and Piastri between last year and this.

Norris said it was "tough to say" whether this had improved the feeling coming from the car.

"This track, everything just feels different," he said. "So I think it's something we'll have to wait and see on the next few races through Austria and Silverstone and so forth to understand and maybe back-to-back tests between them both.

"It's nothing that I've felt just yet. But it's more that when you go to a new track, it's hard to remember everything perfectly relative to other tracks. So we just need a bit more time to understand if it's any better or not."

Piastri stuck with the old layout, saying: "It's not an upgrade. It's a different part. It changes some things, some things are better, some things are worse. I have been happy with how the car has been this year."

Team principal Andrea Stella said: "From Lando's point of view, there were no downsides. If anything, despite the result that we had in Q3 with Lando, pretty much right away, Lando has actually been competitive, especially compared to Oscar throughout the weekend.

"So we think that the experimentation of the front suspension is a successful one, and it's a preference, it's a set-up option in a way, that might be even different across drivers depending on their requirements from a driving point of view."
